Kabbadi is one game which due to poor marketing and lack of media interest has remained on fringes; inspite of lot of efforts from Indian and Bangladesh establishment Kabbadi has remained on the sidelines as far as international sports scene is concerned.Kabbadi is played in a field of size 12.5 m by 10 m , where two team face each other with team size of 7 each , As per international guidelines in Kabbadi a raider from one team goes to the others area and tries to touch someone and get back to his side , the people who are touched (tagged ) are sent out , the , A player can also get out if he touches or crosses the boundary , So each time a player goes out the opposing team wins a point , you get two points or a LONA, once the entire opposition is out .Different types of Kabbadi : International Style: The one which has been referred above where a player goes onto raid from one side to other and tries to tag a member of the other team, the endeavor is to tag some of the players of the opposing team and come back to his part of the court and all the players from the opposing team can obstruct the raider . Punjabi Style (Indian Style): This type of Kabbadi is prevalent in western parts of India , specifically Punjab and some parts of Pakistan , here the raider and defender is a one on one game this is played over a larger fields where no particular area assigned to the field
