I took this photo on behalf of my friend James who on a nearly daily basis makes a negative comment on how connected to the internet and work I am at all times. I am on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YahooIM, AOL, Skype, Oovoo, have multiple email addresses, multiple myspaces, etc...it's damn ridiculous. The disturbing part is that I enjoy it. I really do. I enjoy being able to see my email at all times. I like to twitter nonsense as much as I want to. I like to update my Facebook status... But am I TOO connected? Are we as a culture too connected? Can we go to dinner and leave our Blackberries / iPhones in the car...

Me and my cousins Amy, Kelsy, Sherry and William went for a walk around Kenny's Pond today. It was really fun, poor Sherry wasn't doing too good though. Her boyfriend broke up with her, and she's my cousin visiting from Halifax and he decides to do that while she's on vacation. He also broke up with her not by phone, not by text, not by e-mail, but my changing his relationship status on facebook to "single". How lame is that? Really? ..After a while SherBear was cheered up though, which is good. She goes home Thursday afternoon.

Last year. I had just broken up with my boyfriend and I was a wreck. This guy had said he'd kill himself if I ever dumped him, so for weeks before I just worried myself sick.
