Albert Einstein Original Footage
Albert Einstein (14 March 1879 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist. He is best known for his theory of relativity and specifically massenergy equivalence, expressed by the equation E = mc2. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect." Einstein's many contributions to physics include his special theory of relativity, which reconciled mechanics with ...

Einstein's unfinished symphony Part 1 of 6
As Albert Einstein lay on his deathbed, he asked only for his glasses, his writing implements and his latest equations. He knew he was dying, yet he continued his work. In those final hours of his life, while fading in and out of consciousness, he was working on what he hoped would be his greatest work of all. It was a project of monumental complexity. It was a project that he hoped would unlock the secrets of nature. But as he lay there dying in Princeton Hospital he must have understood ...

Albert Einstein
I'm working on a book of portraits of famous historical figures. Here's Albert Einstein! Model is Bill Pacer, a model and actor in Atlanta, GA. He was awesome to work with. Lighting on this one was a pain, because I was working in an extremely small area. Lit with an SB-26 into a silver umbrella, parallel to the ground, with a big black coroplast card flagging it off the background, which was lit with a red-gelled SB-26. There's an aluminum reflector across from the umbrella for fill.
I made the moustache myself!
Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955): In the year 1905, Einstein elaborated on the experimental results of Max Planck who noticed that electromagnetic energy seemed to be emitted from radiating objects in quantities that were discrete. The energy of these emitted quantities- the so-called light-quanta- was directly proportional to the frequency of the radiation which was completely contrary to classical electromagnetic theory, based on Maxwell's equations and the laws of thermodynamics. Einstein used Planck's quantum hypothesis to describe visible electromagnetic radiation, or light. According to Einstein's viewpoint, light could be imagined to...

There was an hourlong special on Einstein on the History Channel, so I did a portrait in pen and Sharpie of the singularly most famous/iconic German Jewish theoretical physicist.
